Al-Watan newspaper 20, Jan. 2007 The Supreme Arrangement Committee started its preparations to arrange "Falconer 2007" Competition which is sponsored by the young businessman; Fawaz Bin Hadi Al-Adwani. It"s a three-stage competition next February ( 14 – 16 ).

Mr. Fawaz Al-Adwani said that "Falcon 2007" attracted many celebrities, sheikhs, businessmen and falconers from Kuwait and other Gulf countries. He explained that the competition is composed of three stages to be achieved in three days. The first stage includes a competition called "Al-Talah Competition" with a participation of 96 falconers.

He said that The Arrangement Committee assigned valuable prizes for both competitors and audience through distributing coupons to them. He also pointed out that among the prizes, there are two free falcons be awarded to two winners.

He emphasized that the falcons should be purebred, and that interbreed falcons are not allowed to share in any competitions. He added that he intends to hold such competitions annually.
